Over the Christmas and New Year’s Day , the Ice and Snow Festival will show colorful activities ,however , they are unanimous in the theme of fairy tale. Urumqi: Disney Snow Feast
The eighth Ice and Snow Custom Festival in Urumqi will open in Dec,16. The main venue of this festival is in the Silk Road International Ski Resort , and the festival will offer two types of theme events , and strive to create four fine ice and snow tourist routes. Theme activities are divided into winter sports and cultural arts , which are composed of challenged by the foot , ski competition ,snow and ice Disney and ice sculpture garden and some other activities . It has nine events in total . In addition , Other venues such as Snow Lotus Golf Light Ski Mountain , Vester Ski Resort , White Cloud International Ski Resort , Tianshan Grand Canyon , Red Hill Park and Chaiwopu Scenic Area will organize various activities then .

Christmas Village in North Pole : Encounter Santa
Located in the north of Daxing’anling Mountain and south of the upper reaches of Heilongjiang , Mohe is also known as “China’s North Pole”. It is now actively building the construction of the North Pole Christmas Village, and is expected to open in Dec.20,2010. At that time , the Santa Claus from Finland will be invited to welcome guests far and near.
With an area of 100.06 hectares, the North Pole Christmas Village is China’s first Christmas Village with Scandinavian-style. Wawu Mountain in Sichuan: Ice and Snow Fairy Tale World
Wawu Mountain is located in Hongya County of Meishan District ,Sichuan. Together with Leshan Giant Buddha, Emei Mountain , they form the “Golden Triangle “in southwest Sichuan tourism. It will debut International Ice and Snow Festival this year, bringing in to the snow fairy feast to guests from all over the world.
