The pretty panda girl Jingjing is the prototype of "Fuwa Jingjing", a mascot of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. "Jingjing" was born in August 30, 2003, weighing only 152 g at birth. Under the special care of the raiser, Jingjing has now grown into a beautiful "young lady". Jingjing’s parents are "sports stars". Her mother "Yaya" was born during the 1990 Beijing Asian Games, hence got the name; her father "Cobi", the most handsome prince of the giant panda base, was named by the former chairman of the International Olympic Committee, Samaranch, and shares the same name with the mascot of the Barcelona Olympics. Jingjing is the ninth child of her great mother "Yaya". The panda picture on the official website of the Beijing Olympic Games is the very image of Jingjing. It is said that the giant panda base has established a diary for Jingjing on the Internet, recording every little bit of experience on her growth. Jingjing hence becomes the first giant panda on the earth to have an official website.
